Financial services company Fidelity Investments' U.K. arm reported that over the last 12 months, customers were most interested in trading shares of crypto mining firm Argo Blockchain.
In a Thursday report, Fidelity said Argo Blockchain ranked third among the top five stocks most actively traded by its customers in 2021 — the others were Rolls-Royce, British Airways owner International Consolidated Airlines, oil giant BP and Lloyds Banking Group. Argo, which Fidelity described as a "trending" stock, also ranked third among stocks traded by Self-Invested Personal Pension, or SIPP, investors.
However, the financial services company hinted that Argo may not make the top five next year. According to Fidelity, "new arrivals" knocked the mining firm off the list of most actively traded stocks in December, including COVID-19 test manufacturer Genedrive, fast-fashion retailer Boohoo Group and engineering firm Smiths Group.
One of the first crypto mining firms to be listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2018, Argo Blockchain has steadily expanded its operations. Argo became more accessible to U.S. investors through a public listing on the Nasdaq in September. In addition, the firm is currently constructing a facility on a 320-acre land plot in West Texas, aiming for "access to up to 800 [megawatts] of electrical power" to mine Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies.
According to data from its website, Argo's facilities in North America are currently using 45 MW of electricity to generate more than 1.6 exahashes per second of Bitcoin. As of the end of November, the company reported it had generated 1,831 BTC and held 2,317 Bitcoin or "Bitcoin Equivalent" — roughly $93 million and $118 million at the time of publication, respectively.

I can't understand the mandate for the federal reserve is supposed to be stability when they are the ones to cause even more unstable events. They should only ever control the money supply based on the population and not by natural disasters and now we're seeing the product of that happening. People always seem to blame companies first for a lot of the issues at hand whenever we have a crisis arise but don't understand who were the ones to start it and continue to produce more of them. Interest rates should be at least a couple of percentage points higher because these low interest rates are providing an incentive to just borrow freely without any repercussions. I can see why bitcoin was created to challenge the stupidity of the monetary system but again it's filled with corruption and flawed with the same issue with everyone trying to play mind games with the public to make it seem like it's a fair game. I truly think the best way to get a good money system in place that is based on merit and genuine work is by utilizing the blockchain concepts to monitor for fairness in all transactions instead of just making them public. This will force the federal government to raise corporate tax from 21% to 50%. Close corporate tax loop holes and tax breaks. To still insetive investment the federal government needs to abolish the capital gains tax and replace it with a 3% wealth tax on anyone who has 10 million dollars or more in stocks, bonds, precious metals, foreign and domestic currencies. The Federal government will have double the pay roll tax. Abolish income tax for anyone making less than one hundred thousand dollars a year. While having a 50% income tax on anyone who makes a million dollars or more with no tax breaks. Inflation is a product of labor and pay checks not spending by the Fed and business Republicans would like to increase the labor shortage by keeping the Mexican labor their donors are bring in out of the country. The shortage probably comes because people in their 60s and 70s used the pandemic to retire. And labor shortages may not mean everyone is employed, rural people who won't go to a job are not going to be employed. The last 10 or 20% of employment are people with similar problems, some failed to be motivated and reliable maybe before high school, others say I don't want to work at Walmart or Amazon, and other personal issues that lead to a life of mostly unemployment.

Inflation was always there, it was just hidden with low cost goods. Try comparing a Lawnmower from the 70s that was proudly made in America to one that is created today made cheaply in China. The older Lawn mower is built to last where as the one made today would break in a couple of years (by design so customer has to buy a new one). This is how China has become a super power because to hide inflation the super rich in democratic countries in the world, outsourced labor to China to make cheaper goods. It is all so the super rich dont have to pay much for workers. Keep goods and services cost low, keep pay low, keep taxes low. If anything disrupts this mantra, it would result in less money for the super rich. Now that China has become so powerful that they can now start charging more for their goods, it means the super rich of the democratic countries that used China for cheap labor has no choice but to pass the cost on to their working class. Its also the reason for the trade war with China, and moving cheap labor to South East Asia, war torn countries like Pakistan, or slave like labor (Blood Diamond like operations) in Africa. Inflation exists because of greed. Greed is not going anywhere.

If you understand exponential growth then even at their smallest 2% stated goal of inflation you have extraordinary results in just a couple decades. <I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in space in general or probably just naïve, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I'd say that more emphasis should be put into trading since it is way profitable than hodling.
