The market is still trending to the downside, actually in a corrective move and almost reached the 0.61% of Fibonacci retracement , just around an interesting key level.
Having a look at the 1h timeframe, it's possible to see a decrease of momentum although the price is still moving inside an ascending channel .
When, where and why would I step into the market?
Considering an overall downtrend and a possibility of a retracement to the downside, until the price will break the resistance to the upside, I will be looking for a short term sell position.
However, before entering the market, I will be waiting for the price the get a rejection on the resistance level , a breakout of the channel and only after that, I will be looking for a good entry point with a RRR of 1:2 or greater.
I would place my SL above the channel and the resistance level and I will trail it on every swing that the market will eventually make.
The final TP would be just around the local key level on the 4h chart.
A break out to the upside of the current resistance level , will invalidate this trade idea and no action will be taken on this market!

You show many example of types of candles and their potential interpretation. What is confusing for a beginner is all the signals of that type that do not work. A noob would ask how to distinguish a signal from a non-signal if both may look like they fit the bill (from a beginners point of view). A very important aspect here is that something can be a valid signal even though it will then go against the anticipated direction. That's the aspect of probability. If a (supposed) trade did not work, does not mean that the signal was wrong and vice versa. Very important for beginners.

Amazing how you teach the candlesticks with a plot behind the shapes. I can almost imagine the battle of the buyers and the sellers in each candlestick.
Question: If you buy bitcoin, and the price went down. I know my bitcoin now lost its value. But it doesn't mean that I lost my Bitcoin right? I still have my bitcoin no matter how much the price goes down? If that so, I would just hold it until it comes back higher. Instead of selling it in a loss, I would just buy another one with lower price and collect my Bitcoin and sell them all at higher price once it peaks. Am I correct?

But two candles earlier there's another which (to me) also appears to correlate with the longer term upward trend. On the day that was printed would I act on it? In other words is the second bullish pin bar "better" than the first? And why? Thanks..

I got ripped off by him a few days ago sending me his Bitcoin wallet to start my investment and after I he received that money then he asked for a "trading fee" which is double of the amount invested. I refused to send it because he asked for investment first then for the "trading fee" that he never talk about while he is trying to engage you as an investor. Every day he posts fake messages and links without any identification from bitcoin transactions that nobody knows where it come from. Also fake message of possible investors. So Be careful of this wolf in sheep's clothing and also his fakes messages on telegram or Instagram.

I dig the and the content but I do have a suggestion, when you are going through these examples there are a handful of times where the picture in picture square of you talking covers the example you are actually talking about. A perfect example of this is in the area of average true range. You were talking about the chart versus the indicator but you were blocking all the information you were talking about in the . If you are using an application like QuickTime that allows you to record your screen and have picture in picture at the same time, You can drag your picture out of the way temporarily in real time to show what you are talking about and then move you back. I found it kind of frustrating that you were talking about an example that I couldn't see. Just a suggestion. Thanks again for the content
