I'm bullish on gold next week. There is a lot that is baked into the cake already. People know what the Fed is going to do. We've heat peak inflation . And those inflation expectations will start to come down, and Fed will be tightening into a slowing economy. You'll see bond yields dip lower, and the dollar index will soften. Gold is a better place to be at the moment.

If gold was going to drop below support it would have already happen. From these levels I expect an increase in price. It will not be huge jump is will follow in reverse order of the Dollar decline. GBPUSD has been dropping significantly in the past month and price was bouncing in a descending parallel channel .

Currently, the channel is broken to the upside and price has closed bullish candles outside the channel.

There is a resistance level at 1.3285 which is the last major high, and if price breaks this level to the upside and closes a bullish candle above it, we can expect more rise to the next resistance level around 1.3350

EURUSD keeps trading sideways but it's very possible that we will see a move to 1,1440

BTC is losing 50k support, making lower highs, bearish volume , ALTs are dormant but BTC dominance is holding 40% support for now.

S&P500 strong but also DXY strong = mixing signals.

As per chart, 2 possible scenarios are coming:

1. green line - retest of demand zone for BTC 37k-42k or just more swinging time while ALTs drop and Dominance climbs - and then a clear pump and breakout of the down trend towards 50k-55k

US Dollar Index : seems like in short term it changed the trend and begin down trend. It failed to cross the recent high and formed Lower High. There is good support at 95. Lets see how it works !

Here is the Weekend look at the NAS for Dec 13-17. Last week the support held the 55sma and bounce off the neutral. Price managed to break above the 16000-16285 resistance zone (see last week's post) and after a brief pullback into the downward trend line (identified in the midweek updates) the NAS is trading above the resistance zone again on Sunday night.

This week I will be watching for price to break through the red box into the completion zone of the harmonic I have drawn. I would expect some resistance at the green box as the harmonic is bearish . The key market driver this week will be the FED meeting. If you look back at recent FED meetings there is often a run up into the meeting and then a sell off just before or on the day of. Of course there is no guarantee. There is just what has happened before and probabilities. We have to trade what we see. Here is the weekend look at the ES for Dec 13-17. Last week the ES held the 55sma and bounce off the neutral zone. Price pushed through the resistance zone I identified in last week's post effortlessly and is now trading only 20 points below the ATH on Sunday night. Targets going into next week are the ATH and then the first red box on my chart. If price breaks the ATH watch for failure at the 1.13 fib extension. When breakouts fail it often happens at that level. Above the 1.13 I will look for continuation to the 1.618 fib extension. The ES/ SPY is currently the strongest of the indexes. If for whatever reason the ES starts to roll over look for the ema cloud and then the neutral zone to provide support.Read More
